Looking through the Window of Poverty

Are you preparing your heart for Easter ? Our pastor asked a sobering question Sunday to answer and live out.

What does God want from us ?   And even harder,  what is in place of God,  who should be in first place?

I know the Lord wants all of us!  Matthew 6:24 you can’t serve two masters.

What is in the way ? Jobs, cell phones, social life, kids, and spouse.?  Yes we all have to work, or some of us do not.  I believe we can waste time without even knowing it.  How much time do you spend on your phone or watching that favorite tv series ?  I put a screen time tracker on my phone recently.  I was amazed how much time I spent on it  it even breaks it down to what I was doing on it Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and FaceTime

So I am timing my time usage and I went to the library to escape the chores, erands, and other things that attribute to my attention spending time with Jesus.

We can’t be the light I spoke of in my Bio if we are not being fed spiritually.

I am mentoring a few lovely ladies doing mission work here in our city, and I remind them constantly how important it is to have down time.  Rest and be in His arms without distractions of our busy world.  I only wish I would have listened to this wisdom -0 years ago.

Keep being the light so others can see Jesus.
